Shane Cairn - Writer/ Director/ Director of photography/Co-Cameraman/ Co-Producer and Co-Screen writer and Co Executive producer.
Shane Cairn has been in the film and television industry for over 25 years, Starting his career as a cameraman/DoP/ Editor working for two of Australias biggest television stations, Channel Ten and Seven. He always had a passion for shooting films and has now worked on 11 features. Shane’s drive for movie making has led him to take on many rolls within the production of THOL and he has already started writing Part 2. His career is his passion and his passion is his career.
Bruce Edgar- Co-Producer/ Co-Screen Writer/ Digital imaging technicion.
Bruce Edgar was an awe inspiring help and mentor within the full production of THOL. I can honestly say without Bruce’s analytical knowledge, drive and commitment to movie making THOL would never had made it across the line. Bruce is one of the best producers I have worked with in a long time.
William Martinez - 1st Assistant Director
William Martinez is a camera operator, editor, and producer currently living and working in Dubai, UAE. Born in Amsterdam, NL, and raised in Anchorage, AK, he graduated from Princeton University with an Art History degree concentrating in film & animation. Apart from his work in the media industry, Will has spent time as a content producer and designer in the San Francisco tech industry. His current position with One Big Holiday Productions as a camera operator and editor have provided him with the opportunity to work with major brands in the region including, Land Rover, Marriott, CNN, and Dubai Tourism.
As 1st AD Williams strict attention to detail was crucial to keep the film wheels rolling and in the right direction, His unwavering commitment and patience kept order in the chaos that is movie making. His knowledge and skills within the industry combined and I could not have asked for a better 1st AD.
Fanca Georgieva 1st- Assistant camera
Fanca has worked as a 1st assistant camera on multiple feature length films, With no rest going straight on to her next movie straight after the completion of Principle Photography on THOL- The haunting of Lanquetot. Other films include a feature length comedy called The Bystanderts’, Give them wings’ a current entry in the Cannes film Festival this year 2020.
Fanca is also a skilled camera operator in which another one of her projects is currently on Amazon called The Cyber Bride. It was a pleasure to have such a dedicated and skilled 1st AC at my side on THOL and Fanca is always focusing on perfection.
Owen Smith - Camera Operator
Owen A. Smith started his working life in the creative side of the world of advertising after leaving university. He first entered the film industry in 1994 after studying sound engineering and music technology and then Media TV and Radio Production. Owen set up a digital record label and music television channel on thev Play TV network before re-entering media shooting music promos and music related documentary television. He later transitioned over to film drama where his passion lies. He heads a London based production servicing company and independent broadcast television and film production company. Owen is passionate about what we do as movie makers and always striving to be his best,
Rowan Mckay — editor.
Rowan is a long time story teller and editing ninja. Having cut his teeth in the world of drama he has been a part of turning dreams into drama since before the turn of the century. He has a penchant for the strange and unusual so he is a perfect match for THOL. Drawing upon his love of film and its history to weave strange and complicated tales, Rowan is bringing The Haunting of Lanquetot to life and taking it to new levels. Rowan is a professional and highly skilled editor who has a strong yet calm and relaxed way of working and sometimes it’s like he can read my mind. Editing is problem and puzzle solving and I couldn’t have asked for a better comrade to share this adventure with.
Jessica Wood production & Set designer
Jessica Wood is a Production Designer and Set Designer working in film. Her background in illustration has influenced the design of films such as “The Cincinnati Spin’ (2020) 'Return of The Beast From Outer Space' (2020) and 'BBC New Creatives 'Where are you From?'' (2020). Jessica played a vital part in the design and over all feel and complete production value to THOL. Her hard work and eye for detail was outstanding. Her self motivation and high standards were impeccable and a constant reminder of what a small team of dedicated professionals can archive on a limited budget.
Hillary
An upcoming International Designer and Artist from Hong Kong currently based in London, with a history in interior and graphics design. She is a collaborative and well rounded designer with experience in numerous fields of design. Her recent works include Production Design for BFI short film ‘Born Again’, international feature films, music videos as well as Prop and Model Making for various theater designers and film productions. Hillary’s passion for her work brought the sets and locations on THOL to life, If we didnt have something she would go and make it. Her boundless creativity and her go get em attitude is a breath of fresh air to any production.
